Atrax by URW
Designed by Heinrich Jost, released by Bauer in 1926. No lowercase. Issued in digital form by The Font Company and URW (1995, used for sample) with faux small caps. Photo-Lettering, Inc.’s Atrax series lumped together three different German typefaces from the 1920s under one name, Atrax, Ege-Schrift, and Basalt. Their digitized Atrax is the style that actually is based on Ege-Schrift.
